We were up bright and early...ate breakfast at the hotel and drove 2.5 hours into Baltimore. Grant got a little fussy and was a little hard to keep happy...but we made it. We are borrowing Ted's awesome is that thing...especially getting around big cities!

e were able to check into our fancy smancy hotel (Thanks Priceline) and ate a picnic lunch looking out of our 11th floor window. was off to the National Aquarium. The place was PACKED...and HOT...and did I mention PACKED! They don't allow strollers due to all of the escalators...they do offer carriers for the little ones. Andy carried Grant for a while...until the backpack turned too heavy and too cumbersome and awkward with the then we just took turns carrying the little guy around.

The favs were the giant sting ray/sea turtle tank...the sharks and the dolphin show. We had great seats for the show and got to see some great tricks. The rest of the aquarium would have been much more enjoyable if you would have been able to even see the fish.a view from the top of the aquarium...looking down at the tank...pretty cool!

Then...we went and walked around the harbor...checking out the huge ships and beautiful views Then we ate dinner at a crab place overlooking the harbor. Andy and I had remembered eating there 8 years ago and thoroughly enjoying it! Add 2 kids (1 who has napped all day!) and it takes away some of the was a little disappointing considering the amount of money we paid for dinner!

Back to the hotel so Grant could (finally) nap and Seth & Andy went swimming. Then..back out to the harbor to walk around...see the sights and enjoy some ice cream and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake!
which one is the crab....he was all upset cause we were doing "SO MUCH WALKING" (He soon got over that one!)

Overall...It was an enjoyable (hot) day in Baltimore...great making memories with our little guys!
