Ice Cream Social

The 4th annual Kate's Kart Ice Cream Social was held way back at the beginning of summer...on June 17.   It was another wonderful day.   It continues to get bigger and bigger each and every year...it totally amazes me the dedication of the volunteers who help plan as well as the number of people who come out for it.

Our church, Grace Point has allowed us to host it there the past 2 years and it has been such a blessing as they have so much there (tables, chairs, electricity).

We think there were around 700 people there this year.  It was HOT...and DRY...but it didn't stop us from having a great time!

Our annual family photo with Ronald McDonald.

We had Madeline's Toybox provide most of the music...during their break...my brother and his wife provided some entertainment.

The amusement rides are always popular with the kids...especially niece Nia!
Grant adores Clifford..so that was fun for him.

More rides for Grant!

And we added giant inflatables this year...they were a huge hit as well.
and who doesn't love a train ride!

It's a lot of work getting it all set up...but definitely worth it all!
