Breakfast with Santa

Saturday morning Grandma and Grandpa came up and and went downtown to the Embassy for Breakfast with Santa.  It was all decorated for the Festival of Trees...so it is super cool to see, especially this year!

We met Santa and Mrs. Claus right when we got there
we walked around and looked at the trees...loved the ball tree from the Tincaps!
Not so much this one...everyone who walked by said it was "creepy"  I kinda agree!
What a beautiful view overlooking the balcony!
We then were lead up to the stage where we ate breakfast!   Nothing fancy, but edible!
Santa came over and had Grandma sing into the microphone
Grandpa tried to escape when he saw Santa coming...but Santa called him out and made him sing the whole thing himself into the microphone!   Leave it to Ted!
Then we were off to the hotel side where we came upon the Kate's Kart tree!  Several volunteers did an outstanding job decorating the tree...I was super impressed.  Still can't believe that this is all because of our little girl!
Then a quick sit on Santa's lap...Seth wants an Ipod Touch and Grant wants monster trucks!
A little more walking around...there were some creative trees!
We walked over and walked around the Botanical Gardens...the theme was Dr. Suess/Grinch!
So glad Grandma and Grandpa could join us!
 Beautiful flowers...next to handsome boys!
then...to top it all off...we headed to Powers to get some hamburgers....we had no idea..and all just ordered 1...it was a little snack...just enough to take the edge off!  We took up almost 1/2 of the seats in the place.
This was our 2nd year with Breakfast with Santa...it's a fun morning and well worth the price, considering you get tickets to the festival of trees!  Love that my boys love this kind of thing and love that Grandma buys them such cute outfits to make them SO cute!
