Camping Day #4

Friday morning we were up bright and early...made some breakfast and packed up camp.  We headed into the town of South Haven about 5 miles away from the campground.    We had a really hard time finding a parking spot...as most of the roads were shut down for a basketball tournament that weekend...but finally settled on a Do-It Best (with permission...parking that RV can be a challenge!)

We walked around the town..and out on the pier!   Oh, it makes me nervous with crazy Grant..but he loves it, in fact, both boys do

He wanted to just sit for ever and watch the boats!
We got lucky when this ship came in....pretty cool

We stopped for lunch at Clementines in South Haven...LOVE that place and their onion rings...in fact we found that both our boys love onion rings too...at least from there!    It was well worth the 45 minute wait to get in!

Then...a trip to find some ice cream...cause of course you HAVE to have ice cream on vacation.  We heard of Sherman's...and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
It was about a 3 hour drive home...and Grant was out like a light for most of it...not sure how "safe" this was...but there was NO keeping him upright...all that swimming and biking and hiking wears a little 4 year old OUT!
It was a great little 4 day get-away!  The weather was beautiful...a little chillier than we thought, so our 1 sweatshirt each got good use! So lucky to have the camper and the time to enjoy the beach and each other!
