Winterfest in Portland

This weekend we headed down to Portland for our annual Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa.  We arrived around 6 and feasted on traditional Thanksgiving goodies.   Grandma makes the best stuffing EVER!   Ted's family was there...so there were 18 of us.  It was the first holiday in their new home...it was beautiful and plenty of room.

After Ted's family left...we watched some Hallmark movies.  Love being able to stay up late and watch those.

Saturday morning we were lazy around the house.  Andy and I did go out and buy a wreath to put on Kate's grave...it's always surreal doing that...we would so much rather be buying toys and games for our little 8 year old.

After a yummy leftover lunch...we headed to the courthouse for carriage rides and a look at all the decorated trees in the Courthouse.    We ran into the FROZEN gang having a meet and great!

Back to the house and Ted and Seth went to watch the High School Boys Scrimmage in Basketball.   Cathy and I went shopping at some primitive stores.  Then...Andy and I went to Kate's grave to hang her wreath.

Back for some card games and a quick dinner before heading to the light parade.   Just as we were walking out the door...Grant and Seth got into a fight...it made Grant upset...and he threw up.  LOVELY!   He has been fighting a nasty cold/cough for a week now...and I think he got so worked up that all that mucus caused a problem.

So...since he seemed to be feeling fine...we headed down just in time to watch the parade...there were some cute floats..but it seemed shorter than normal.

It was a fun relaxing weekend...always seems to be the last before the craziness of the holidays really get here!
